Ken Stubblety

Ken is a Brisbane born artist who studied at the George Street College of Art, and at the Queensland College of Art at Seven Hills. He has worked as a commercial artist, French polisher, plaster technician, art tutor, and full-time artist, specializing in contemporary modernism.
He produces a prolific amount of work that is noted for it's vibrant colours, distinctive style, and symbolism.
Ken lived in Malaysia for several years, and has travelled extensively throughout Indonesia, Europe, and the Middle East.
He specializes in richly coloured oil paintings, stone sculptures, mould making, assemblages, mixed media paintings, and performance art.
His current passion is to further Zooism - a movement started by Ken to encourage others to "release themselves, release one's inhibitions with colour".
Ken has participated in numerous solo, and joint, exhibitions throughout Australia.
